It's located in a very central spot and pretty close to public transportation. There are some tours you can join to explore the city, which is really convenient. The bathrooms are quite clean and well-maintained. You'll find some breakfast options included in the price, that won't disappoint you.

During my xmas vacation, I stayed at a hostel close to Union Square. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered a complimentary dinner which was quite nice. The hostel was also close to public transportation and had good security measures.

The breakfast was very basic, and the occasional dinner was not filling. The surrounding area had a lot of homeless people which made me feel unsafe walking around late at night.
